Spirituality is a living and vital component of mankind in which people are looking for ultimate meaning, purpose, mastery while engaging connections with themselves, their family members, others, communities, society, nature, the divine or spiritual. Health, illness, beliefs, knowledge, medical practices all influenced by culture, dentistry no exception. Everyone, whether rural urban, has its own health illness beliefs practices. The only way to provide culturally sensitive care be aware of, listen to, attentive each patient, as well inquire about personal needs wishes when appropriate. Spiritual well- being regarded fourth dimension health. It helps realize greatest potential, find meaning purpose life, fulfillment from within. individual's lifestyle may have significant impact on his her oral behaviour. Caries plaque-induced periodontal illnesses linked hygiene, food intake frequency, motivation preserve health, certain circumstances, religious commitment Dental myths widespread unquestioned misleading ideas that often arise result lack education, spiritual traditional factors based non-scientific information. Despite global advances diagnosis, treatment, prevention, some continue hold values, practices, myths. If these exposed timely manner, it possible reduce costs time required dental thereby converting an operative treatment into conservative management improve patient satisfaction.
